I was enamored with photography early—not just the craft, but the way it could stop something from disappearing: an expression or moment that would've otherwise just passed.

My training started in film, where every frame had to count. There was no unlimited roll to lean on, so I quickly learned when a shot needed to be planned down to the detail, and when it was better to just let it happen. Studying photography also taught me the camera was only ever part of the picture. Over time I stopped operating it and started directing everything around it: casting, concepts, props, locations, lighting, the movement.

That same instinct, knowing what to plan and what to leave open, still guides every project today. It's the difference between a shoot that produces images and one that produces a campaign that resonates after the shoot wraps.

My specialties include staying a step ahead of problems, solving them fast when they show up anyway, and creative direction that's grounded in what's actually possible to produce, not just what looks good on paper. I notice things other people don't always catch—whether everyone on set is actually comfortable, not just saying they are, and the tiniest loose thread on a garment three feet from camera.

Off the clock, I'm Georgia football through and through. You'll know where to find me on a Saturday in the fall. I'm also a self-proclaimed foodie with a soft spot for Top Chef. Give me an iced tea and a Sharpie and I'm set.

About Me

MY PHILOSOPHY

What I personally respond to and what a brand actually needs aren't always the same thing. I know how to balance the two. The work should feel real and alive, never forced.

Whether I'm building a creative vision from scratch or evolving an existing one, it starts with understanding the brand: what it stands for, where it's trying to go, and what story it's trying to tell. How do you tell that story so it actually lands? That question shapes every decision that follows, from casting to the final edit.

I lead with a human-first approach, building environments where people are trusted, supported, and inspired to create their best work. I prepare for everything, but I leave room for the moment to happen.

Having worked in-house for 15 years, I understand how creative decisions move through an organization: budgets, deadlines, business initiatives, approvals. Put together, the result is work built to resonate: trusted people making considered creative, shaped around what the brand and the business actually need.
